I have been moved by the calls of my neighbors and friends to step up and help our community as an Ormond Beach City Commissioner. I know that we must stop the spending and make our government more transparent for residents. I understand that our commissioners should be listening to their residents not the special interests.

I want to help create a Better Ormond Beach for all our residents.

I grew up in Ohio, the oldest daughter of nine children. I learned, early on, the value of service from my mother, a nurse who instilled in me a deep commitment to caring for others and giving back to the community. That inspired me to go into nursing to help other people. I began my career working with Oncology and adult leukemia patients. I then went on to be a hospice nurse.

My career took a turn when I moved to healthcare management. I am still working to help people, just on a larger scale. I manage budgets and personnel while working to make the lives of patients better. I am always focused on making a meaningful difference for others.
