Coleen has been moved by the calls of her neighbors and friends to step up and help our community as an Ormond Beach City Commissioner. She knows that we must stop the spending and make our government more transparent for residents. Coleen understands that our commissioners should be listening to their residents not the special interests.
Coleen wants to help create a Better Ormond Beach for all our residents.
Coleen grew up in Ohio, the oldest daughter of nine children. She learned early the value of service from her mother, a nurse who instilled in her a deep commitment to caring for others and giving back to the community. That inspired her to go into nursing to help other people. She began her career working with Oncology and adult leukemia patients. She then went on to be a hospice nurse.
Her career took a turn when she moved to healthcare management. She is still working to help people, just on a larger scale. She manages budgets and personnel while working to make the lives of patients better. Coleen is always focused on making a meaningful difference for others.
